Dave was born in Oshawa. He played minor hockey and baseball in Oshawa as a teenager. He graduated high school in 1958 from O'Neil Collegiate. Dave was a member of the Oshawa Juvenile hockey team that won the all Ontario championship in 1958. On May 29, 2013 the hockey team was inducted into the Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame.

Biography: 

W. D. (Dave) Frolick is a late blooming novelist. His first novel, The Cabin: A Murder Mystery, was published by WDF Publishing in December 2016. The novel is currently for sale world-wide on numerous e-book sites.Dave is currently working on his second murder mystery novel, Music City Murders, which will be published by mid 2017. Dave is a country music songwriter, creative director, and partner at Frozen North Music (SOCAN), a Canadian music publisher. Dave enjoys writing country songs, golfing, movies, reading a good murder mystery and watching sports on TV--especially the Toronto Blue Jays. He is retired from a career as an entrepreneur and real estate sales. Dave and his wife Rose live in Oshawa, Ontario.
